Bidding Wars Attendees
Yes, this was my first big car auction and I LOVED it!
Another thing I thought was really cool, was the fact that there were many different people from all over the US that attended. Further, many were there with their families. After speaking with several families, some said they had been attending the event for a number of years and that their children had grown up coming to the event each year…resulting in many fond memories.
Family bonding…now that’s what it’s really all about!

Again I want to thank all of you out there who have been watching Bidding Wars and sending me your thoughts on the show.
A common question that keeps being asked is…What was the most challening thing about shooting the show at The Kruse Auction?
One thing that was challenging, was the fact that there is soooo much going on at the auction. It is non stop! So right when we would be done covering one automobile and speaking with the buyer… BOOM…it was on to the next, and the next, and the next…you get the picture :)
However, I do like the high energy of it all. It kept me on my toes, yet very entertained!

Some of you have asked – what time(s) and date(s) does Bidding Wars & Mothers Polish Car Show Competition air???
Well, even I have a hard time keeping up with the TV schedule. However, I did come across this website with the listings and it seems to be right on. The cool thing is, you can check it daily :)

Bidding Wars has been getting a great response thanks to all of you viewers who have taken an interest!
To answer some of your questions…
Yes, it was fun shooting the show. The energy is high, there’s lots of people from all over the world, and the food there is the same that you would find at a State Fair..yummmy!
The actual event took place in Auburn Indiana at the KRUSE International Auction Park. It was my first time to event like this…now I am hooked
Here is an image while the Bat Mobile from the movie BatMan was being auctioned off.

Bidding Wars / Chick-Fil-A
You guys ever seen or met the guy from Chick-Fil-A? You may have seen him on TV he is always involved in charity work, helping schools, etc. He is also a huge sports fan…and is a true car enthusiasts.
I interviewed him a handful of times after he purchased and/or bid on a variety of cars. He was also kind enough to give our entire TV crew coupons for free Chick-fil-a :)

While working in Las Vegas covering the SEMA show for the Mothers Polish Car Show Competition, I met John Force.
First of all…I love the show Driving Force! Yha gotta love people for keeping it real and that’s what this family does, especailly John.
Anyway, Ted my producer who is a long time friend of John’s introduced us. Ted said “John, this is our new host Genevieve Chappell.” John took a look, head to toe, paused and said ” Now that’s what I’m talking about!”
Of course we all started laughing!
