Velocitymag.com shot it’s third episode of Velocity TV on September 28th, 2008 at the 26th annual Newport Beach Concours d’ Elegance.

This years event celebrated 26 years of presenting engineering and art in the form of the automobile. The Concours presented some extrodinary examples of automotive innovation at the prestigious St. Regis Resort Monarch Beach in Dana Point.

More than 100 classic cars were on display at this spectacular location overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

The owners to these treasures were both proud and eager to share the history behind their car and fun tid bits reagrding what it took to restore their particular car. As you can see in the pictures, these are some of the finest and most interesting cars in the world.

Not only is the Newport Beach Concours a worldclass event, it also is a great charitable event that helps both the Dick and Mary Allen Diabetes Center at Hoag Memorial Hospital and the Assessment and Treatment Services Center in Newport Beach.
