The Big Keystone Show – Texas
When Keystone decided to hold a show in Dallas, Texas they weren’t messing around!
They chose to have the show at The Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center
The locals told us that the Gaylord Texan is the newest, nicest, largest, resort in Texas. Then again, from what I’ve been told everything is big in Texas, right?!
From the main lobby, you walk through the indoor court, past restaurant row, through the halls of boutiques and arrive at the convention center, which attached to the resort and still has that new, clean smell to it.
The floor layout was terrific, as it was spacious, open and roomy. For example, the aisles were wide and products were viewable from afar. The width of the aisles also lent itself to navigating around the show floor with ease, stopping and talking as long as you’d like with the vendors without feeling crowed or rushed. Because of this, there was a lot of business taking place.
There were a number of various vendors – some well known and some new guys on the scene. The New/Featured Products Section was buzzing, as attendees were able to view the hottest new products for the coming year in one complete section on the show floor. Plus, learn the features and benefits of each new/featured product at a glance.
The show also featured a super cool area called the Wheel & Tire Café. There was over 200 of the hottest new wheels on display. For those of you who know me well, you know I LOVE big trucks, truck accessories, big tires and wheels. I’m also a big fan of shinny things (lol) so this section really caught my eye. I was totally ooowing and ahhhing as I encircled the displays, capturing video and snapping images. The guys at the booths were cracking up at me. Yes, I admit it, I spend more time, inspecting, drooling over, and getting excited over automotive and truck goodies than I do in a jewelry store. It’s true; I can’t hide it or deny it! Guess that’s the tom boy in me – LOL.
Most of the attendees consisted of people from the sunshine states and locals from Texas. Because of the shows location and surroundings, everyone at the show – coordinators, vendors, attendees, and even the security had a super upbeat and refreshed attitude. Which is always nice to see.
As usual the EBC Brakes booth was rocking & rolling all day long. Seriously there wasn’t a dull moment, we literally greeted and spoke with those in attendance as well as answered questions the entire 8 hours – non-stop.
I believe I signed two hundred posters – which means it’s time to order more before the next appearances.
EBC representative Chris and I noticed that many of the attendees and EBC fans – both male and female, at this particular show were truck and jeep owners and total off-road enthusiasts and they all wanted to know which rotors were best for off-road trucks and jeeps. If you have those same type of inquires click on the EBC Brakes website below for more information.
As usual we received much good feedback regarding the quality and strength of our brake pads. In fact, we caught up with Ron and Jason – the guys from TUFF TRUCKS and here’s what they had to say about their personal experience with EBC Brake pads.
We look forward to seeing you all very soon. Until then, enjoy some addition links and photos.
